OUR COMPANY
History

Taking inspiration from the Taiwanese Bakeries back home, our founders established their first store in Hacienda Heights in 1996. Since then, our company has grown to 7 locations serving the communities of Hacienda Heights, Rowland Heights, Arcadia, Torrance, City of Industry, Temple City, and Honolulu. In late 2009, we opened up our first restaurant-bakery in the City of Industry, making this location our first official flagship store. And as demand grew, we opened up another restaurant-bakery to serve the west side of the San Gabriel Valley in 2016 in Temple City.

As the market changes, we have always tried to adapt and meet the standards and trends of this ever changing market. In 2015 we opened our Honolulu store. This store serves as our second generation concept; giving our stores a more modern feel and introduction of a tea bar.

JJ Bakery has always maintained a high standard of food quality, while keeping in mind the importance of food safety. We are a HACCP driven, food safe production company. Our quality control is monitored by our on-site registered dietician. We follow food regulations and meet ethical obligations to protect our customers.

Research & Development

We have a result-oriented research development team LED by our CEO. She oversees each stage of our research and development when creating new and exciting products; from choosing the right and best ingredients, to finalizing the item and making a proper serving size. With our depth of experience and knowledge of the bakery industry, we have been successful in creating new products to suit our customer’s cravings!
